Question  I am trying to install the desktop software and it says I need .NET framework version 1.1, but I already have version 2.0 installed.
Answer  Microsoft's .NET framework has multiple versions. Version 2.0 is not completely backward compatible with previous versions. However, you can install version 1.1 on top of version 2.0. You may download and install version 1.1 from the Microsoft website.
