Typically you do not need to obtain an API key for your clients. If you are managing accounts on behalf of a client you should use your own API and account keys to gain access to the API. You may then provide a client's account key if a list is being scrubbed on behalf of that particular client. For more information on implementing the API, please see the API Spec. API and client keys are only used if you are accessing the scrubbing mechanism through the API. If you are using the desktop software to manage your own or your clients' accounts then you only need your username and password and do not need to use these keys.
